Registration is now open for the 2026 Strategic Communications Summit and Cumbre Awards!

On Friday, September 25, NMPRSA will bring New Mexico’s communications community together at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque for a full day of professional development, connection and celebration. Under this year’s theme, “The Pinnacle of PR and Communications,” the Strategic Communications Summit will explore leadership, emerging industry trends and the rapidly changing communications landscape, followed by the Cumbre Awards celebration recognizing the exceptional work happening across our profession.

Be sure to take advantage of early-bird registration through August 25, as well as the special room rate available at our host hotel. Whether you’re looking to gain new insights, connect with colleagues or celebrate the outstanding work of New Mexico’s communications professionals, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

We’re also seeking nominations for our top PR professional awards. Please take a moment to recognize a colleague, mentor or communications leader whose contributions have helped strengthen our profession by Wednesday, August 12. It’s an opportunity to shine a light on the people who inspire us, advance our industry and make a difference through their work.

During this annual Cumbre Awards event, Gold, Silver and Bronze award certificates are presented to talented PR professionals. Outstanding entries will receive Best of Show Awards. The event also features fun activities including group photo opportunities and a raffle for exciting prize baskets that benefit students in our state’s PR community.
